In the spirit of the season, what holiday music selections are your favorites?

Here are a few CD's I enjoy.
Johnny Mathis- Merry Christmas
Linda Eder - Christmas Stays the Same (My Favorite version of Silent Night)
Chaticleer- Sing We Christmas
Elvis - He has a couple
Mormon Tabernacle Choir - Joy To The World
George Winston- December

A Dave Brubeck Christmas
Oscar Peterson (I think it's entitled An Oscar Peterson Christmas)
A Charlie Brown Christmas
Mozart and Bach have some wonderful Christmas Mass music

I'd like to get a good recording of traditional carols and songs. I've got a 3 CD set I bought at a Target or Wal Mart bargain bin years ago, and while it's fairly good, there's some real hokey versions interspersed.

I really enjoy these two Christmas albums.

+1 on Dave Brubeck Chrismas and Charlie Brown Christmas - they are both excellent!

I also like the classics...Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Carpenters, etc. as well as newer Christmas music from Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, Kenny Loggins, Diana Krall, and Tony Bennett to name a few. My wife and I also enjoy some of the classical music arrangements.

I hate to be the Scrooge in the group, but I really don't like any Christmas music.

Yeah but we only have to listen to it a couple of weeks per year, some of you have to listen to Jazz all year 'round . :laughin:
