Beer refrigerator

I'm looking for a small -- about 24" wide, counter height -- beer refrigerator. I would like to be able to cool standing beer bottles. Wine is not important. I would like for it to be quiet since it may go in or near a home theater. And I would like not to have to mortgage my house to buy it. Any suggestions?

Beer refrigerator

There's tons of cheep fridges available at Loews or HD. If you're looking for something more commercial, maybe a U-Line or Perlick for $1500 - $3000.

I have been to Lowes and Home Depot, but I haven't found what I'm looking for. For one thing, it's very difficult to find decibel ratings.

I thought on AA I would find the special one I hadn't encountered yet.

Terry.......I bought Marlene this Danby fridge in black at Best Buy and installed it in the feed room next to Gus's stall. It gets plenty cold for sodas and beer and operates quietly. They are made in Canada and this one has held up well installed in a dusty environment that is not climate controlled. It's been out in the feed room for three years and still doing its thing. They come in black or white. Nothing fancy but a good little refrigerator.

Thanks, Dan. This looks like a candidate.

Terry... mine are made for wine only. Excellent brand, and quiet too.

With the upcoming holiday -- both the major home improvement centers are going to have blow out sales on appliances -- BB too probably; along with K-Mart/Walmart/Sears.

Practically any refrigerator from those outlets will chill beer -- I usually throw mine in the freezer for an additional 30 minutes of chilliness -- nothing like a REAL COLD BEER on a hot/muggy/humid day or rainy/wet/chilly/winter one too).

Best sir,

Bob
