The fact that price sounds even remotely reasonable is further proof I need to get a new hobby.

Insane....amplification for the 'dream' system for sure.

The progression series does not quite match the sonic performance of the Momentums. Use of alu heatsink instead of expensive copper in the Momentums is also one of the reasons Progression mono is a little more affordable.

I completely agree. First thing I said when I saw $36,000... I said reasonable.

Wait is it 36k for each monoblock??

These look real interesting for the price if they are in fact $36K for the pair.

That does not seem probable since the new Momentum M-400 run $65k.

This is lower in the product heirarchy.

Thank you Tony. I based this off of hearing the momentum monoblocks in my system. After reading your post, you already know that the anticipation is killing me right now.

Man, progressions with Maxx 3 will surely wake up the neighbors!

You don't need to hope. D'agostino and Wilson ALWAYS pair with incredible results. Heard it a million times. I'd have d'agostino amps if I could afford. Maybe some day.

I have to add that due to recent events in my life, I realized that life is never fair. For example within the last two weeks, I have read of Charles Hansen dying, Dave Wilson ill, my cat having been euthanized after 15 years, my fellow firefighter dying from cancer two years after retiring, and another high school friend in hospice now! Now do you see why I am enjoying my life now? :yes:

I am still sore from moving out ARC Ref 250's and then Momentum monoblocks. The dealer and his assistant will be here after they eat lunch. I am not lifting these amps. Once settled in I will take photos and post them. :thumbsup:

They definitely have a lot of headroom. The first listen right out of the box was really disappointing as to be expected. The manual says 30 minutes but an hour was more realistic. They have a few more to go. The amps barey get warm. I remember touching the Momentums on loan and feeling the heat. More to come as we get to know each other. :buddy:
