Runco plat panels

Does anyone own a Runco plat panel? My Mac dealer sells them. He said Runco is famous for their video processor being able to render life-like images as opposed to other manufactures like Pioneer or Panasonic. I'm not a videophile, so I can't tell the difference between Runco and Pioneer. But I do know this, Runco makes one quality plat panel with beautiful aluminum bezel. The high-end of plasma.

Have you looked into this Ivan?

Yup, they are very serious panels. I especially like the 103" 485 lb. $100K one!

Yes, Runco is considered the high-end of plasma.

It has to do more with their processing done internally; I do not believe they ever became the OEM for their own chassis & glass, though.

I believe they use Panasonic glass at the moment.
