Ivan.......Not only will I never forget, I'm still mad as hell. God rest the souls that perished that tragic day.

My flag is half mast as it has been since this senseless devastation:

I took my family back a few years ago so my children would understand this better.

I can’t believe its been 18 years already, seems like it just happened and still fresh in the memory. I remember every second that day.

I was just thinking the same thoughts. I can remember what I was eating when I got the call from my wife. She was in Hong Kong and I was in Bangkok at a Mexican restaurant. It was two days before my company would let us fly anywhere in the world - Stupid crazy times.

On my flight to Hong Kong, I almost punched out a Vietnamese lawyer sitting next to me. He actually tried to convince me and others on the plane that the US deserved it. THAT I remember very well. I just kept thinking, family and career we’re my responsibilities so don’t. I had to move seats.

Geeze! You showed great restraint!

I recall my daughter coming home after school that day. She told me about a gas station owner that was jumping up and down with joy every time they replayed the crash on the news.
