BNC Mania
1 Attachment(s)
Ok, so the guy that makes my McIntosh Handles works at one of the Boeing Aircraft machine shops. He knows that I am way into audio gear, so he suggested I try some of their custom made BNC RF/EMI Covers for inputs/outputs that are not in use. They do not have a center shorting pin; and are also hermetically sealed for keeping dust and dirt out.
Here is a photo of them installed on my Grandioso G1 Clock;

I am sure it's just in my head, but I believe they make a small improvement in overall detail. What I didn't realize is that I had a need for 59 of them for all of the Clocks, K1, P1, D1, and other associated gear that had open BNC connectors.
I finished covering every single one of them yesterday, and did some critical listening today. I really do like what I am hearing, so they are staying.
As was said on another thread; it's my money and my ears. :)
