New chisels.
 

Just got a set of 3 dovetail chisels. Bluespruce tools makes these beautiful bubinga handle chisels specially made for hand chopping dovetails in woodwork. Yes I'm a woodworking nerd.

Anyone with the skill to hand chisel precision dovetails is a true craftsman, not a nerd. I look forward to seeing more examples of your work.

Do you do your own sharpening?

I agree, not many dovetails done anymore by machine.By hand must be a real art.

these are top Notch! I have a few my self.

I confess I spare them and use them very little. I am very bad at sharpening and dont want to ruin them. I guess I just need to build my skills!

I have several sharpening stones from Shapton and a Veritas sharpening jig that makes the job of sharpening a little easier.

My Harley dog of 16 1/2 years past away last February and I made a small urn box and cabinet/stand for the box and a few of his favorite toys. The proud dovetails were all cut by hand in the box and cabinet.

Excellent work!! I am miles away from doing something like this. I am a big fan of Krenov cabinets as well!!! Keep up the good work!!!
