How to embed a video
As many of you have noticed the ability to embed a YouTube video has been having issues. This is due to the fact YouTube constantly tries to adjust code, to stop embedding/playing right through our/anyone's site/blog/etc. So after a few days work I have fixed our "program."
All you have to do to embed a YouTube video is click the link in the top center of your web browser, copy it, and then paste it into your post here. Once you submit or preview your post, the program will turn the link into an embedded video. Reminder: Do NOT click or use the "share/embed" codes via YouTube. Just click the URL in your web browser and Cut/Paste! |
Thanks Rich!

Thanks Dan. It's been a long last few days on the site with upgrades, etc. Hopefully we've rounded the bend and are on the homeward stretch now!

Is video embedding still available? It seems like the youtube 'share' link turns into a url instead of iframe code.

Went to this address at youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hEbPIGHrsEA
Copied the "share" link for the video. Pasted that into message window. Result below: https://youtu.be/hEbPIGHrsEA Video not embedded? |
Tim.......I have experienced an issue with embedding YouTube videos , too. It has been going on for a few weeks for me. I tried to embed your link without success and had no success embedding the Chocolate Mousse video below. I am sure Admin will get to the bottom of the issue.
