WW Eclipse 7 Gold speaker cables?
I’m seriously thinking about dipping my toes into the Wire World, uh, world. Without trying to open a can of worms on biwire vs single or shotgun cabling what is the consensus on the quality of WW’s biwire Eclipse series 7 or 8 cables?
Thanks, Karl |
Simply put, as good as it gets IMHO. ;)

Well, I decided to buy Tim’s biwire Gold’s that he has for sale in the marketplace...can’t wait to get them!

Enjoy.....

Great choice!

Congrats Karl!! You got a steal of a deal. I also own WW GE7 speaker cables. So good!

Thanks guys. Great to hear...pun intended! I can’t wait to get these cables in and hooked up! I’ve been a Kimber guy for years but AA’s influence is in full effect.

Just got the Gold Eclipse 7’s in from Tim and hooked up! OMG, I love these cables!!
Decay of instruments and voices is intoxicating, snap of snare drums, punch of kick drums, weight of bass, separation of instruments...check, check, check, and check. https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/...20141210185802 Karl |
I would like to know if there is a difference in apparent sound level between different Wireworld speaker cables. I would like to drive my TAD-E1 speakers with two WW Silver Eclipse cables – so truly biwired. I intent using my current cables of series 7 for the Low and a new cable of series 8 for the High connector. Only, when there is a difference in sound level between series 7 and 8, the tonal balance between high en low will change. I would appreciate if somebody from WW can comment on this?
Regards, Gerard |
