Would you explain the acoustic benefit the stands will provide?

A solid massive base will improve the bass performance of your subwoofer by stabilizing it and reducing the energy transfer to the floor. These improvements will be heard as tighter more linear deep bass. Transients will be more natural and "one note" bass will be substantially reduced.

I have Sound Anchors under my two JLF113s. They do what you say tighter bass. I am curious in the height as mine are only a few inches off the ground. What difference do you think the higher stands will make?

The key is to raise the sub just enough for the Bass wave to fully propagate. After some number crunching we came up with 6.5" which does the job perfectly.

I don't know of anyone who has tried them, but ASC makes a sub trap designed to accomplish the same benefits described above

ASC SubTrap

When i purchased my ASC products a few years ago, the consultant pushed to sell me a sub trap.

I refused, mainly due to the sheer size of the trap. They raise the sub 18 inches off the floor. I suppose so high because they are absorbing and decoupling at the same time.

Ivan, if you ever get the chance to compare and contrast the Sound Anchor stand and the ASC sub trap, I would be very interested in the results.

I have tried and sold my ASC Sub Traps; it is the only ASC product I didn't like.
