I wish there were measurements so that I could actually see which of the two was a better performer.

Given the choice of SRA and HRS, it's easy: SRA. There's real science at work there and very clever science at that vs a "mass uber alles" approach. Also do not care for the way granite sounds whether used alone or as an insert as it was with HRS I auditioned. High Q resonances are to be avoided, not embraced.

If true, it makes me wonder why 65-70% of all manufacturers choose HRS to display and play their gear on at every major audio show. :scratch2:

I own, and sell them both; but simply favor HRS.

Ivan you know there's other factors in play at shows. One is who is willing to contribute to the cost of the room. Not saying it's the case here but it's good to be aware of.

No doubt... However I can easily hear the difference between the two products. Although price is an entirely different matter.

So can I and so, for example, can the gentlemen over at the Audio Exotics forum. For them (and me), the choice is SRA. It just sounds better.

The sound from HRS is salubrious, exquisite, stunning, glorious and dazzling. The Sound from SRA is superlative, smashing, magnificent, superb and impeccable.
