I got a pair of JL in-wall Subs today, just in case. :)

Remarkably well made, as all their products are.

Ivan
I spent some time at your Cape Event discussing those subs with the JL Audio rep. Very interesting how these were designed and how they are installed.

I bought a set a while back and wound up selling them, instead of installing them. Maybe these will see some action at my place.

If space is a concern these are probably some of the best IW subs out there.

E... Have you heard them?

I'm going to chronicle the installation of these with lots of pics, since they are going in already finished walls.

Ivan... How do they compare price wise with the cabinet subs?

The one I bought is their Flagship IWS-SYS-2 with two 13.5" drivers and two 1000 watt amps.

This unit retails for $7500

They will be on the opposite wall from my Futura's about 30'+ away.

I'll of course have the ability to bypass them remotely to A/B both with & without them.

This will be a fun project!

Seen and heard, but not in a perfect environment for them. Almost went with them on a few projects due to space limitations but wound up decreasing client wife aggro via other methods to use regular boxes. ;)
