Power cord priorities for SQ?

Hi all

Interested in what people have found when connecting power cords to their equipment in terms of what in the chain makes the biggest difference - e.g. to pre-amp or DAC or power amp etc

This might just help me prioritise which PC's to focus on first in terms of upgrading, although I also recognise some may have a view that PC quality does not matter.

Thanks guys!

biggest change for the better for me, was the power cord to my Vitus Masterpiece DAC.

bigger change to overall sound than amps, or preamp

My Herron VTPH-2 phonostage really excels with the Nordost Heimdal 2 PC (2 meter length).

They all make a difference, but I find the biggest improvement from power cord upgrades to be on the DAC.

If I had one power cord to use, I'd put in on the source. CD players and TTs use more current i'm told. If I had two, amps.

Why Amps first?

If I had to do it in steps, I would upgrade the power cords on components that have the highest current draw.
