Stillpoints Adaptor for Simaudio Moon Evolution 700i
 

Here's one for Bruce Jacobs.

I wanted to try Ultra SS replacing the feet of my Moon 700i instead of having it just resting on the four SSs. I checked the Adaptor Chart on the Stillpoints website and it listed the adaptor I needed - 1/4-28 to 1/4-20 Short. The UK distributor is now quoting a price of nearly three times the usual cost for a set of 4.

Why? This is not some weird metric size which is not listed and has to be especially made just for me!

I am resurrecting this thread as I received NOTHING by way of a response from Stillpoints.

I did eventually cave in and pay the demanded sum. And this is what I got

Are these the 'kosher' Stillpoint adaptors? Or have I been stiffed? They are certainly not very well finished, unlike the screws usually supplied with the SS's...

I’m using Ultra SS under my Simaudio 700i with excellent results.
Now if I can only figure out how to use them with my Focal Sopra n2.
They did magic with my previous 1028be2 speakers compared to the factory spikes.
I’ve got very thick carpeting and pads so I used the Stillpoints space Jed.

JetJock... As you will probably have already found out, the Sopra 2 needs a different threaded adapter. So if you already have the 8 Ultra SSs, the extra cost should not be too bad. As for how they fit onto the Sopra 2, I cannot comment.
