Canton Reference K1's get Platinum Crossover Jumpers

I recently replaced the gold plated stock jumpers on my Ref K1's crossover with WW Platinum Eclipse 8 Jumpers w/ 1/4" Solid Silver Spades. This did in fact make a nice improvement in the Mids & Highs. A bit more detail, and sparkle without a hint of edginess.

Here are the stock cheap plates that come with just about every brand of speaker.

Thanks to Ivan, I have the same setup and honestly I had a hard time believing it would make a difference, but it did. Cheap upgrade... :)

Hi
I have been a happy owner of K1 for some time, I was interested in the topic of jumpers, do they really have an influence on the sound in this case? ... this is not a crossover after all? ... have you noticed that without jumpers also is normal signal?

I wanted to post some of my photos from a folder on my phone or computer, but can't see how I can do it,,,?

Believe you must be at least a forum "Subscriber" to post pic's.

Every speaker I have owned and many I have heard all benefit from replacing straps or stock jumpers with jumpers that match your speaker cables. Further, speaker cables to the mid/treble posts and jumpers down to the bass section posts seems best to me in all cases.

One of the keys to get my Ref 9K's to sound good was to bi-wire. Big (very) improvement in sound with same.
