Hi, Ivan, Dan...good to be here again. Thank you for the warm welcome. Hope I did not miss much fun for last two yrs. I will pay for due later but quick question here about the hr1000 remote for the late c1000 production before they were discontinued. Are they still metal made or simply without the gold globe logo unlike those older productions ? The newer remote version tells us that particular c1000 units were not earlier made, Am I right? Both of my C1000C's came with two remotes each. One fancy all metal, the other regular plastic.

Thinking about joining the c1000 club :music: but noticed that hr1000 remote isn't same as what we normally see with gold globe Mcintosh logo on the bottom. That hesitates me for buying decision hence came up with question if the later production has different version for metal remote.
