Sorry, gotta give a -1 on III.

The trek movies are all best on even numbers. The odd numbers were much weaker films.

Good ones: 2,4,6,FC,Nemesis
Save-your-money: 1,3,5,Generations,Insurrection

6 on BD is a lot of fun - they put some effort into the recode.

I have to agree that Star Trek III is weak. :(

As a major Star Trek fan, I tend to agree with this assessment. I do find 1 and 3 to have some endearing qualities though. I thought they did a nice job with The Motion Picture Directors Cut that was released on DVD, and I would like to see that version make it to Blu-Ray.

To me, 5 is easily the worst, with Generations not too far behind.

Doug, ... My camera is a Sony Cyber-Shot so nothing special from that end.

I just try to throw in a few/some Pics. to add a little something to my post.

The Runco is a "Light-Engine" and the image is Awesome especially with Blu-Ray.

I don't have the New Star Trek but it very well might be one that I do acquire.

I really like Sci-Fi and Star Trek is right up there on top of that list.
