Q7 gasket anomaly

Well. After 1 year, I saw rubber gasket make itself seen. It is sealant between front and side panel.
Peak temp in the room was never exceed 32c. I will contact local dealer. but I am sure there is nothing that can be done.
Just live with it.

Toga.......That seems highly unusual, especially for speakers at that price point. Q7's are serious money. I would be upset big time.

Nothing to be done?

Why wouldn't Magico help you fix the speaker?

I would ask Magico for a replacement under warranty.

Ok, now I cannot post picture anymore, forgot to renew.
But normally all you will see are metals, drivers and speaker posts.
But now, around the line where front panel meets side panels, there is
Rubber gasket being squeezed and protruded in a similar way when you apply to much
Glue between two pieces of objects.

I think it is too complex for dealer to fix it and too heavy and troublesome to ship it back.

Anyway, sonic is still outstanding as usual and no air leak.

That would be totally unacceptable to me, good luck Toga!

I wouldn't push for a resolution under warrantee.

Exactly .....

For the cost of this product the manufacturer and the dealer should have the burden of figuring out the details of the repair.
Ultimately this is a manufacturing defect and no one should have to "live" with this issue on a loudspeaker touted as state of the art design.
