the NY Audio Show is back in Manhattan
 

It's the weekend of the 4th of Nov I believe. Friday through Sunday. I was just told that Audio Connection's will most probably host a room with Vandersteen Speakers, Audioquest, Audio Research and possibly AMG turntable cartridge set up. I'm really excited as I've never been to any show in all my years in and around audio. The show has a site up I was told. I haven't been over there to check it out, but I'm sure you can Google it. Anyone else probably going??

I am going. Last year's was held in westchester county. Attendance was low.

N.B.: Sunday, November 6, is the NYC Marathon. If you plan to drive in/out, plan accordingly.

I went a couple of years ago, in Brooklyn, and that Vandersteen room, with Audioquest, and Audio Research was STUNNING.
Maybe the best sound I've ever heard. Incredibly natural renditions of whatever music was played. Not to be missed if you go.

Should be A great show. MY BROTHER and I plan on attending...

I'm not familiar with many of the brands in this show and was going to pass, but the vendor I bought my Kuro and BDP player from will be there. So I bought a ticket, but due to schedule will have to go on Friday.

Noticeably absent from the brands and exhibitors are McIntosh and Audio Research. . :scratch2:

Attendance was commensurate with the offerings, imho.

This one should be much better (and I do not have to drive there).

Had planned to go, but a couple of matches that were postponed due to weather have been rescheduled for Sat & Sun and driving up Fri and getting back is a non-starter. Enjoy!
