I need more fluid and no longer have the patience for the two step process...

I know that it is probably better but I want a SINGLE STEP FLUID.

Thanks in advance.

My favorite single step fluid is a mixture of acetone and sulphuric acid. Completely cleans the record, label, everything, eats a hole in the turntable platter, leaves a black spot where the record used to be.

Either that, or I just put the record in the dishwasher - works almost as well as my special mixture.

You are welcome in advance.

Actually, Stephen, I still use my VPI HW-17 with L'ART DU SON - RECORD CLEANING FLUID or Nitty Gritty Pure 2 fluid the first contains no alcohol and the Pure 2 does.

They seem to clean records just as well as the fancy mixtures that you can buy or make. I like to keep things as simple and as cheap as possible and I try to stick to the basics . . . and these are pretty basic.

I've had good experience with the Disc Doctor Quick wash. I use in between the cleanings with the Disc Doctor Miracle cleaner which is a two step process.
