I read a couple of reviews but there seems to be no mention of them anywhere else but on their own website. Just curious :scratch2:.

Thanks.

Vacuum State - the Swiss company? They have a fairly popular phono stage that has a wide following on the Gon. Here is a link to the reviews from their website: Interconnect and Speaker Cables, JLTi Phono Stage, SVP Tube Preamp, RTP-3D, DPA-300B, Sony SCD-777ES, Sony 9000ES, The VSEI Sony SACD Saga (http://www.vacuumstate.com/index.tpl?rubrik=7&lang=2&a=s%259B%25CB%2591%25FF%25AD%2540%25BB&b=734515.8266460125)

I am sure you have seen it but there is quite a lot of coverage on their products. If you do a search on Agon on the JLTI phono stage you will see a lot of feedback on that particular product. I am not familiar with RTP3D preamp though.

Thanks Cyril,

I've seen the website. That's what I was curious about, the RTP3D. If the RTP3D preamp is as good as they and the reviewers say, wouldn't it get any praise from owners? We are a pretty vocal bunch.

Obviously I have too much time on my hands....

Joe...I don't think it's a well known brand in the US and there reps in the US are poorly chosen. I just think there is probably not many folks in the US who have shelled out $24K on the preamp from a brand they are not familiar with. The JLTI has gotten some traction at its price point of $1750 I believe and is one of those word of mouth successes (at least that is my impression) on Agon. These are my assumptions so I don't know how accurate they are. :scratch2:
