Congrats, Ivan! I'm curious about your thoughts on the pros and cons of the Olive 4HD and the Sooloos. Which Sooloos are you getting?

Thanks,

Have a bit of patience with the Olive 4HD Ivan. The web-GUI takes a bit to get used to. You will need to load Firefox as that is the Browser of choice for Olive. Also, make sure that you have the latest software loaded as search speed is vastly improved. If you have any questions, please give me call.

I did the math Dan, if I cover 16 more CES shows like this one, I can pass your post count. :laughin:

Speaking of being done for, that's what I'm afraid is in for me when I get home from work today and tell Jenny that we are getting not one but two Sooloos systems, one for upstairs and one for downstairs. Maybe I should get a third one I can use in the doghouse.:banana:

2 Sooloos'ssss means you will also need to develop a taste for "Kibbles and Bits"
Poor Jenny, Donna, Marlene, Valerie, etc. - It's a good thing that we are just so damn lovable in every other respect.:D

On the flip side of the coin.

So, how about that new Olive 6D? Anyone using it yet?

Dan,

you have been faster than me on this one ( as always indeed...) ! I wanted to ask that this morning.
This unit looks really cool.
It has an AES / EBU output. On the MDA1000, this input is superior to coax.
I wonder what will be its MRSP in France. The Olive 4HD retails for 2500 euros.
But the 6HD is more appealing to me.
From the Olive site, it seems to be on pre-order at this time....

Jérôme.......There is something about slot loading CD's that doesn't spell high-end to me. I can accept slot loading in a vehicle CD player, but I have reservations about that method of loading CD's in high-end home audio gear. Meridian has embraced the slot loader on the Sooloos Control 15, also.
