I’m curious as to how well a pair of these speakers would perform while in a medium sized room using a MAC MA8950 for power. Also using a pair of REL T9/x subwoofers. Does the MAC have enough power?

First you need to consider if the room and setup is synergistic with planar speakers like the Maggies, since to perform optimally they need several feet of space behind them. The other important consideration you brought up is power and the Magnepan 3.7i speakers thrive on high power. While the MAC's rating of 200wpc is certainly sufficient to drive them to reasonable levels, the speakers will perform significantly better with more powerful amps. The Maggies sound much more alive and effortless with better dynamics when matched with higher power amps, even when listened to at more modest levels. My experience isn't with MAC amps in particular but with other similarly powered options and more powerful amps when matched with Magnepan speakers.
