Thx Serge. I have been researching the vinyl thing and I came across the FAQ site on Audio Asylum and went to the vinyl section which has a number of articles/resources on various aspects of tt setup (incl the article you posted above). Excellent article,but I think it misses a very important step.Before I did anything I would always level the table from front to back and left to right.Same thing with platter,then I would place the level next to spindle and spin platter,bubble should stay put in level.Always thought this helped with less snaps and pops,as cartridge would "track" groove better.
Apologies if I missed this in article,feel this is important step and maybe overlooked.
