I wonder if AA readers might be able to assist. Is anybody aware of a source for second hand 12" Mørch UP-4 arm wands?
I have a 9" golden UP-4 with a yellow dot, which I really like, on my slate 401 plinth but I have now obtained a new maple plinth.
This new plinth is cut for a Rega-type alignment short arm and an SME mounting hole for the 12" arm. Rather than drill a further hole in the wood, I was wondering whether I should find or make an adaptor which allows the Mørch to sit in the 12" slot.
The trouble is I can't find a wand for love nor money in Europe and I understand there is a waiting list for new stuff.
Is anyone aware of a Mørch guru with a hoard of NOS or second-hand stuff across the pond (or indeed anywhere else!) please?
