View Full Version : Porsche sent me a new Turbo motor.
Ok, so it's not the real deal but it was a nice touch of them to send out a promotional package featuring the new 911 Turbo with a model of the twin turbo engine.

Nice touch.

Someday that promotional material will be worth as much as the car itself.

I didn't get one. :( Did you guys have to do anything to get one?

I'm not sure what the determining factor is, probably recent buyers? :scratch2: I would have been upset if they didn't send me one since I bought 3 Porsche's in the past 1.5 years. :D

3/1.5=2
I think you should buy Porsches more often Ivan. :D

I hope the new 911 Turbo doesn't depreciate that quickly! :D I have one on order by the way.

It must be real recent since my last one with just 3 years ago.

Dennis, you may still get yours. I saw someone post about it a week ago and didn't think I would get one. Although I do get promotional material from them all the time but usually just little brochures and such.
One thing I really did appreciate is the "Certificate" they send you when you buy a new car. It lists all the options and such and can be nicely framed for memories.

All right, you guys are getting me riled at Porsche. No miniature Turbo engine, no USB keyhead memory stick, no Panamera miniature, nothing. And yes, I bought my C2S new this past February and three other P-cars over the last 8 years.

In the early 90's Porsche sent me a poster which showed the rear view of a Turbo with all four wheels off the ground going over a slight bump. The license plate had my name on it. I had that poster on my office wall for several years 'till I owned a Turbo like that.

I guess their promotional/advertisement campaigns really work. :D
