CJ PV14LS vs. PV14LSII...differences?

Hey guys! Does anyone know the differences between the PV14L and the PV14LSII preamps? I'm thinking about trying one, but can't seem to find out the actual details.

I have read it only involves a change in tubes, but that doesn't seem worthy of a MKII designation?

Call C-J and ask them. IIRC, it's more than just a change in tubes.

I read a lot about the two yonks ago as I had the series PV14LS ii. If I recall correctly there was criticism of the first version in the bass. I did not hear the original 14 ls but preferred mine to the 15 I had in my system for a while at the time. Things have evolved a few iterations since then.
