Just got the Vinyl Flat LP flattener. I tried it on some warped LP's and it worked great. I got it with the heating pouch, the idea of putting my LP's in the oven did not work for me.

You should check it out, its a great economical way of dealing with warped LP's

I look forward to reading about your experience with your new flattener. I have a number of warped records and can't afford the alternatives. ..

Interested in learning how difficult it is to maintain the 130º temperature required, since ovens do not provide thermostats that go that low.

Julian, my experience so far has been very good. I treated two warped records and they are almost completely flat after the process.
I two found it problematic to maintain accurate oven temperature, this is why I got the Vinyl Flat Heating Pouch as well. The pouch is easy to use and keep a constant temperature.
Based on my experience this is a great product and a cheap alternative to the very expensive alternatives.
