Check out the different mag's show reports :) Know it was in mine but the pic quality was not great. For some reason, that gold color and the lighting made getting a nice pic difficult :(

Apparently the same thing happened for some reviewers trying to photograph the Simaudio that was in 14K gold....:scratch2:

Love to hear one sometime, though, it's too bad they don't make the premier 350....

I spoke with ed about two weeks ago and was told $18,500.00 I wish I could afford one. I wonder how much better this will be vs a pair of LP125M SE at $12,000. But it sure looks cooler. It does sound fantastic.

It looks like it should be on display in the Museum for Modarn Art or at London's Design Center.

Frankly, I've been disappointed a bit with C-J latest industrial designs since they moved away from the beautiful "curved vestibule" designs of the CT-5, ET-2, LP70S, 140M, 275M and ET250s.

My CT-5...

The LP66, LP125, ET3 and ET5 just don't cut it in my book compared to the former designs. I know they did it to reduce costs and remain cost-competitie in a down econonmy, but the designs were uninspiring from an Industrial Design (ID) perspective.

It's nice to see C-J getting back to their "edgier", sleeker and more modern ID with the GAT pre and the ART amps.

I agree the current design of the non reference pieces is a little bland.

I'm not so sure of that :) The low impedance driver stage in the ART is very different from anything else they've done and affects a lot of areas of operation :)

Less money on casework == More investment on the quality of internal components.

Yes, agreed, and understood. However, my comments were directly only at the industrial design aspect, not functional ones.

My guess is...not much.

My guess is it will be better in some areas, maybe more transparent and detailed but will fall short in imaging and sound staging where the mono block configuration of the LP125mSE will still have an advantage.

I know, just a comment on my side. Bill and Lew are economists after all.
