I have been very intrigued by this very high-end marquee brand from Greece. There linestage preamp and phono stages along with their SET monos have gotten extremely impressive reviews. The Aelius are 200wpc (into 8 ohms and 350wpc into 4 ohms) push-pull monos but they seemed to have made their mark on Marc Mickelson of the AudioBeat.com. Here's a link to the company's web site for those interested: ¾øéëïí - Untouchable... but not unreachable (http://www.ypsilonelectronics.com/default.htm)

I remember when they made their first int'l debut during the hifi show in London in 2005. They brought their mono SET 100 towers as their first product, and intended to sell them at $20k per pair.

I remember I contempleted buying them since I really liked their sound, but eventually decided to get sth else, from more reputable company (got the Lamms 1.2R instead). I was afraid of future resale value, in case such a new company folds.

It seems that I should have bought them, since they are like $125k now, LOL.
