I ordered a custom dustcover from JMK Displays for my Michell Gyro SE. It arrived today, and looks fantastic. Once my maple Boos Board arrives to put under the turntable I think the cover will look even better.

I selected 3/16" plexiglass, so the dust cover is a little bit heavier than the standard 1/8" covers. There is a 3" wide by 3/4" high cutout centered in the bottom of the rear panel for the cables to exit. JMK Displays did a fine job.

Jérôme.......No, I will remove the dustcover when I am enjoying the turntable. I keep the studio very clean, and with as little physical activity that happens in the room I don't have a serious dust issue to begin with. I just wanted something that would keep the Gryo SE spotless when not being used. The less dusting I have to do on the turntable the lower the chances of a tragic mishap with my stylus and cantilever.

One more angle shot of my new dustcover. JMK Displays did an excellent job making this to my dimensions. I am very pleased with their work.

Dan, the TT already looks like sculpture, but even more so "under glass."

I wish I had my maple Boos Block, but the email I received today said not until the end of the month. They take their merry time. The Boos Block is 22" x 18" x 1.5" thick. The dustcover is 20' x 17" x 8" and will sit on the maple block. I think it will be a visual knockout.

Ivan.......Thanks. Hopefully JMK Displays will be able to accommodate your request.

Wow Dan, simply gorgeous.
Now that sets me thinking I would need one to cover my poor Dr. Feickert Twin DFA TT. Each time I dust it, my blood pressure shoots up. I sure hate the idea I will be breaking the Miyajima Shilabe or worse still bent or twist the Triplanar arm.
Would they do one and ship over?
You sure do things in a classy way Dan!
Looks great Dan

No "Do Not Touch" engraved onto the plexiglass? Looks great Dan.

Finally got off my a$$ and gave Jay at JMK Designs a call & after a fax & followup call, my TT cover arrived. Sure was a very reasonable cost that spruced up the rack rather nicely.
Thanks Dan for the idea -- had been looking; just never followed up with any company to get it ordered, etc.
JMK Designs are highly recommended.

Got my dustcover in today. "TurnTable Dust Covers" on eBay did mine. Cost me $275 with shipping. Still awaiting a base.
