Jim.......Anticipation is part of the joy of the hunt, to a point. My anticipation cannot possibly approach what John and others have experienced waiting on their MX150's to be delivered. Patience is a virtue, or so I have been told.

You are correct about the flexibility of the Wireworld power cables. They are supple enough to bend freely. That is important to me. Trying to route and control the seven Wireworld Silver Electra power cables I presently have behind my rack, eight once the MEN220 is installed, is a challenge. Were the Wireworld power cables stiff and not pliable, it would be impossible to control that many power cables between the rack and the wall. The flexibility of the Wireworld power cable is a major plus, not to mention the audible benefits they provide.

Dan......

Right now I am in the same anticipation mode as you. I sold my old gear very quickly and eagerly await the arrival of 4 new pieces. At least the cables are a nice reminder of what is to come and having experienced HK's MEN220 I am certain you will be very happy when it does arrive.

Buddy - please do tell - what gear did you sell and what new gear are you awaiting?

I don't want to derail Dan's thread and I had been waiting to say anything until the new gear arrived, but what the heck

I sold: ARC DSI 200 integrated amp, Esoteric D-07 d/a coverter and a Synergistic Research Powercell 10SE.

New Gear = McIntosh MC402, C2300
PS Audio Power Plant Premier
Wyred 4 Sound DAC2

Now I have a question in return..........
How do you like the Modwright modded Oppo BDP-83SE?
we were discussing that very topic not too long ago

Very cool Buddy! I look forward to hearing your impressions of your new gear. The MC402 and C2300 make a terrific combo

To not derail Dan's thread any longer, I will point you to the thread I started where I will be writing my review of the Modwright Oppo BDP-83 here: http://audioaficionado.org/modwright...-new-post.html I intend to finish the review this weekend!

Jérôme.......Well at least you can look at my photos, and feel good knowing yours are on the way. Those cutoms fellows are probably trying out your cables at home before sending them on to you. They'll probabaly make some copies of the CD I sent you, too.

Dan ... What differences do you hear when you move from stock to "high end" interconnects and power cords?
