Jeff I think the jumpers made a small difference in the bottom end, tightened things up a bit. Now if I had the JL's first, I probably wouldn't have noticed it at all. Maybe my ear is not that refined?

Since I'm spending your money, I'd wait on them until the money tree blossoms in the spring and put some Rollerblocks under any moving pieces like your CD player. Money WELL spent IMO!
