I have been enjoying the new Wireworld 6.0 Silver Eclipse balanced interconnects between my C1000P and MC501's, and between my MCD500 and my C1000P in my main system for a couple of months. I am extremely pleased with the openness, the top to bottom balance and detail they have to offer. So today I ordered a one meter pair and a one and a half meter pair of 6.0 Silver Eclipse balanced interconnects for my studio system. I already have the Wireworld Silver Electra power cords on the C2300, MCD500, MC352, PS Audio Power Plant Premier, and the XLS112 sub in the studio system, but I have been listening to my old favorite standby interconnect cables, the Tributaries Silver Series balanced interconnects. The Wireworld 6.0 Silver Eclipse balanced interconnects are quite a step up from the Tributaries, and were a sweet improvement to my main system, so adding them to the studio system is exciting. I am looking forward to receiving them. The Tributaries will go into the drawer. The Wireworld 6.0 Silver Eclipse balanced cables are worth every single penny.

I think the Wireworld Equinox 6 interconnects are very good on there own.
The Cable Cooker brings out every last sonic nuance that is in the cable.

UPS delivered the 2 pairs of Silver Eclipse 6 interconnects today.

When I first took them out of their fancy deluxe boxes and tried to install them
the RCA's were so tight they would not go on.
I called Wireworld and they told me to stick a ballpoint pen in the ends.
I suggested to them the use of a hairdryer on the ends for about 10 seconds.

Well... I opted not to take their advise and used one of my female RCA to RCA
couplings I use to cook interconnects on my Cable Cooker and very gently pushed the coupler straight in.
I let the coupler set for a minute and gently removed it. All is well they are installed and playing as I write.

I am not going to say too much about the sound. I will leave them in my system for the rest of the day and then transfer them to my Audiodharma Cable Cooker.

Ok... They are more refined in their presentation and extend more to the frequency extremes. Imaging is more focused and precise. They bring out low level detail I have never heard before.
This is in comparison with the Equinox 6 interconnects.

This is out of the box with only an hour of playing music through them.
