Yeah, you are right! The problem is my Tron phono stage is still being built so I'm stuck with CD's and they just don't create the same emotional connection as my vinyl system.
Although...Duke Ellington's Mofi Blues in Orbit is sounding pretty good!

Yeah, but there must be an inverse relationship between parts count and price! I guess it's just more costly to use fewer parts...

The Tron Seven Phono is a great phono stage. I've had mine for quite sometime already.
Graham Tricker is a great guy to deal with. One tip: make sure you don't use 12au7 even though its a substitute for the 5814WA. It will be a disaster due to its voltage differences. 2nd tip: use Symposium Rollerblock Series 2 underneath them-> very good results. 3rd tip: Kubala sosna power cords works well with them.
