Default New Sashas! But how do I insert pictures?

I've got some pictures of my new speakers, but need help with how to insert them into this post. They are saved in "My Pictures" on my hard drive. When I click on the "Insert Images" icon it asks me for a url. Is there any way to just insert pictures from my hard drive?

My dedicated listening room is our finished basement measuring 20 X 36 X 9. The speakers were installed last Friday by two technicians and the entire process was thoroughly enjoyable and fun to watch. The two guys had a lot of fun, once the speakers were set up, listening to vinyl. Their first comment was, "Where are all the pops and ticks?" Then, they just got quiet and listened.

After about 100 hours on them, the speakers are sounding wonderful. They are everything I had hoped for in terms of how they sound in my room with my gear. I am coming from electrostats including Martin Logan Spires and Quad 2805's. The Sashas have all the resolution, transparency and coherence of the electrostats but with incredible dynamics, excellent tone, full body to images and of course great soundstaging.

So far, I've left the speakers exactly how they were placed by the technicians. I may play around with toe-in a little bit just to see what happens. My room treatments are optimized for the electrostats and adjusting them for these new speakers is also on my to-do list. But for now, I just want to sit and listen without messing around with set up.

You need to become a subscriber ($25) to post the pictures. Judging from the speakers you have had, and now the Sashas, you will have much to contribute, learn and share on this site. It is a small investment for being a part of a wonderful group of friends.

Dave, how large or small is your sweetspot? I know from experience ML's have a single person sweetspot. When I demoed the WP8s the imaging and tone were spot on with CJ gear but the sweetspot was small. Not much fun if your wife or friends cannot experience the same soundstage and imaging as the person sitting in a single person sweetspot.

You prolly ment the resolution of ML since Quads do not excel at resolution ;-) I would say that they have sheer speed, transparency and coherence of electrostats. Which is not a small feat for a box speaker !

Dave...the easiest way to post pics is to upload the pictures you have to a photo hosting site (like Snapfish or something similar...signing up is free) and then when you have uploaded your pics in whichever hosting service, right click on the pics in Snapfish and select Properties, and then copy the URL address. Once you have done this, switch over to Audio Aficionado and come back to this thread and press the yellow icon above where you enter text and a pop up window will appear that asks you for the URL address of the image you want to attach. Paste the URL address that you copied from the pic in Snapfish (or whatever hosting service you choose) and you are done. When you hit ok, you will see .

So just so you can see how it works, I am going to paste the image in your avatar by right clicking on your picture, choosing Properties, copying the URL address, hitting the yellow "mountain" icon, pasting your URL address and hit OK and we get:

I hope that made sense.
