Then you can decide if they work or not...

Yes - they work better than any other type of isolation device I've tried under speakers. All sorts of cones, myrtle wood blocks, etc. Of course this is just my opinion, not scientific, can't prove it. They just seem to pull the images tighter, improve the soundstage. On my speakers, they really do work.

I haven't tried rollerblocks under components so can't say, but I've heard and read that they work minor miracles.

My advice would be to take Klipschfan up on his offer to try a set.

1 set of Symposium RollerBlock Jr's. have been launched your way!.

When I talked to Peter about using Rollerblock Jr's with my speakers, he recommended the upgrade to tungsten carbide balls - fairly costly - but a much harder ball, and that is what I am using.

I never had an opportunity to compare the tungsten balls to standard steel balls, but I imagine the tungsten ball is a much better choice for use under heavy speakers. (Mine weigh well over a hundred pounds each.)

The new HDSE Rollerblock Jr's described in another AA thread ( http://audioaficionado.org/symposium...ms-latest.html ) may be an even better choice for use with speakers. I have a feeling that I may have to try a set to find out for myself.
