I'm using Rollerblock Jr's with tungsten balls in conjunction with Svelte pads under the speakers in my main system - much better performance than any cone or other device I have tried.

Contrary to the advice that Peter gave me when I discussed with him the use of his products to isolate relatively heavy speakers, I place the svelte pad directly on the floor (either a brick surface - or a thick oriental rug) and use the Rollerblock Jr's between the Svelte pads and the speakers.

Peter said that I should get better performance with the rollerblock jr's under the svelte pads and the speakers placed directly on the sveltes, but I have experienced much better imaging and soundstaging with the configuration I have described. Besides, because of the placement of the binding posts on the bottom of the Eidolons, it is necessary to elevate the speakers - usually with the furnished cones - but the Rollerblock Jr made a dramatic improvement with those speakers - and it is fun to be able to rock the speakers back and forth when I just want to play!!! My grandchildren think it is way cool!

While Peter did say I should prefer the other configuration, he did tell me to try it either way and determine which pleased me the most. He is so helpful and full of good information - and his products are all first class.

Both my Avalon Eidolons and Audio Physic Caldera 3 speakers have benefitted greatly from this combination.

I wonder if the new HDSE would give even better performance.
