Default Installed my 1st set of Rollerblocks

I installed my first set of Rollerblocks on Thursday. I started with the MCD since it has the moving parts. I'm keeping notes and plan on presenting my opinions on all four pieces I'm going to block in several days.

I will say it is quite unnerving to load and unload a CD! Pressing the eject button causes the unit to move. Seeing it move like this made my heart skip a beat the first time I loaded it. My wife does not like it all. She thought it was falling off the shelf.

More to follow!

Gordon

You will find they are an amazing tweak that truly works. I use them on all of my sources & C1000 combo. After a very short while, you will wonder how you got along without them.

+1. Before incorporating them into my 2 channel system, I tried them with an old MX134 and my brother and I could easily hear better articulation.

In fact, I was so impressed I bought an Isis rack.

My dealer's solidtech rack uses similar ball-baring technology. Whenever a button is pushed, the unit moves. This is especially evident when they swap cables. I was quite nervous, but the dealers don't seem to notice at all.

I use Symposium Svelte Shelves, Svelte Plus, Ultra Shelf, Fat Padz, Point Pods. Highly recommended!

I've only tried the Fat Padz and they made a very noticeable difference under the Lamm tubed preamp. Bass tightened up instantly. Not quite as much difference under the Ayre KX-R but I still use them for that preamp.
