I stack my source units on one shelf and my pre/processor on another. If using fat padz, does each unit need them or just the bottom unit?

I know if I was a purist , I would not stack them but at the moment, that is how It is working for me.

I use them between each component, they are inexpensive & very effective.

Do you place felt between the padz and the top of the lower unit to prevent scratching?

I would try to separate the stack by using 3 Fatties between each piece of gear. Still not optimal but better. Don't forget that gear also spews much noise itself so the better the distance between them, the better. Sometimes the transformers and other noise generating circuits are well shielded inside the chassis but not top and bottom plates.

A question for anyone who has experimented with the different Symposium products and combinations.

Have RollerBlock Jr's. under my components.

Would there be any improvement by adding any one of the following-Fat padz, Ultra padz, or Couplers under the RollerBlock Jr's.?
