Default Cremona Auditor Ms

Just ordered the Auditor Ms and a REL B2 to replace my soon-to-be-for-sale Dynaudio 52SE/Stand4/Sub20A combo. Now the wait - 5 long days if Sumiko has them in stock. These will be my first SF. McIntosh C2200 pre, MC252 amp will be the engine. Source is Rega P7 TT/Dynavector DV20XH and Rotel RCD-1072.

That's going to be a nice combination.

I have a REL B2 on backorder but I am amazed at the bass output from the 6" mid-bass driver and this is with only 15 hrs use/breakin so far.

You have a very nice combination but you don't need me to tell you that, congrats . Give them more time and experiment with your speaker position. Enjoy

Miner,

I don't use a sub at the moment with my Auditors, but I have used a B3 before with very good results. Looking forward to hearing how your B2 works out for you.

And, you are right about the bass output from the speaker, quite a bit from a speaker of this size.

KMC45,

I just noticed that you took the "caps" off of the adjustable rake in the back and slipped them up front - is that just to give you more upsloping rake or is there another benefit? Higher soundstage? Curious minds want to know...

j3,

A little more rake.

A little different.

Chicks dig it.
