Update from a continuing PPP story- I originally order two PPPs from a dealer in California. the first one arrived and would not fire up. I called PS Audio Customer Service and they trouble shot it with me for a while. Then they deemed it defective. They provided me with a new Fedex label and off it went the next day back to PS Audio in Colorado. Customer service agreed to send me a new PPP within a couple of days. I await the new tracking numbers for it. In the mean time the second PPP came from the dealer in California. I hooked it all up and boy was I surprised at the improvement in sound. Far more clearer, smoother and in the highs much more brighter. My speakers sound like they are running far more efficiently- yes I do have two electrically powered woofers in each of my CMX 212s and therefore I have them hooked into the PPP. Interesting enough the incoming electricity is 124 and it comes out at 120. My THD comes in at 2.7 and goes out at .05. It is truly great to know what the power is doing. No I do not have my McIntosh amps hooked into the PPP. They will remain hooked directly into the wall outlets. Oh Yes, my bass is far deeper and defined as well. The PPP is just an amazing unit.

Somewhere in the PS Audio Forum there was a post indicating a "member" had daisy-chained his PS Audio PPPs in an effort, I believe, to further reduce the THD. In other words, let's say from the wall to the first unit was 5% input and .5% output. That PPP was sent to a second PPP, which realized .5% input and .2% output. The electronics would be plugged into the second PPP in order to capture the lower THD on all units plugged into it.

I just got off the phone with PS Audio. They are great, by the way. But when I mentioned I had experimented with this daisy-chain configuration I was admonished against it. I was informed it can put too much stress on one or the other unit.

So just a friendly heads-up. If anyone else is experimenting with this daisy-chain configuration, it is not endorsed by PS Audio. (That wasn't the issue I was having, but it came out during our trouble-shooting discussion.) You have been advised.

Yep... count me in as a believer! I'm astonished on how much the noise floor was lowered. Details in the music are explained from the highs to the lows. I sense a greater 3d sound stage. Ahhhhh.... so this is what this McIntosh equipment suppose to sound like. Hey this is some pretty alright gear!!

I'm very...very afraid to ask this question! Added the Power Plant mated Wire world sliver electra PC. Added the Wire world copper electra to C2300, even tried it with amp. "Deep sigh" Where did my bass go!? Do get me wrong the I get it!!! Just trying to find my bass. Hell I even....gasp touch my tonal controls!! Did I offend something in my system?
