The only Digital Lens which can be purchased at this time is the original Genesis Digital Lens. The connection with PS Audio on this is that Paul McGowan, the current owner and founder of PS Audio, was one of the founders of Genesis. During his time at Genesis they offered the Digital Lens.

The Genesis Digital Lens is essentially a memory buffer which reclocks the digital stream in order to eliminate jitter.

The engineering team at PS Audio has been working on a new and much improved version of the Digital Lens. Unfortunately I can't give a whole lot of details, but I will say it is AWESOME! It will do considerably more than the original lens and the performance is out of this world. The Lens will be available sometime next year.

As for the Perfect Wave DAC (PWD) and Transport (PWT), let me clear a couple of things up. There is no lens in the PWD. When we say the PWT and PWD have the Lens technology we are talking about how the digital data is treated in the PWT. The result of building a lens technology into the PWT is that we have what is essentially a jitter free output to the DAC. Since there is no jitter there is no need to have a lens in the DAC.

When we release the Bridge upgrade card for the PWD you will hear about the Lens technology which is built into the Bridge. In the Bridge we use the Lens technology to buffer the digital data stream from the network, in the same way we do in the PWT.
