Ryan.......I have a dedicated 20 amp circuit, including the PS Audio Soloist Premier SE outlet for my Fathom f113. The subwoofer sounds wonderful, so I have to assume part of that great performance is clean power.

Dan.....Do you also plug your F113 into another surge protector from the Soloist, or just right into the Soloist and call it a day? I planned on just using the Soloist as I am by PS's notes getting the surge, clean and constant power in the single device. I've read past posts were a PPP or similar is used for a Fathom along with the Soloist plug. This seemed a bit overkill to me in mind and pocket book. What do you think?

Ryan.......Power the Fathom f113 directly from the Soloist Premier at the wall. There is no need for the extra extension outlet.

I am not saying this for the sake of argument but to remind the number of recent buyers to be patient with their new installations because they keep improving. I was concerned the first few hours but now I highly recommend them. PS Audio makes great products.

I'm coming close to 100 hours on mine also. I picked up some 12ga romex and just now extended out the dedicated line for the EVO amps to a double gang box with the porter ports that were in the dedicated outlet and the outlet I replaced with the soloist. Now no more panamax powerstrip possibly choking the voltage and one less connection via having to plug the powerstrip into the outlet. Warming up the amps and looking forward to listening.

Howard.......I am happy to know the PS Audio Soloist Premier is continuing to blossom, and its presence in your AC power distribution continues to add enhancements to your awesome sound system.

As I pointed out in an earlier post to Mike (Rilands), at the level we presently enjoy reproduced music with systems like yours, advances in the quality of reproduction no longer come in leaps and bounds, but rather arrive in increments, often small. Even with the amazing resolution of your sound system, you must still pay very close attention to all of the essentials, and intimately know the system and your source material in order to enable a keen focus on what has been altered, and hopefully improved by the presence of something new in the system, especially something as seemingly inconsequential as an AC receptacle. This is the reason that sound systems with less resolution often fail to expose these small improvements, leaving owners disappointed. Expectations always run high, but all the building blocks must be in place in order to fully realize the benefits of the final tweaks that can literally take a sound system's performance over the top.

It is great to finally have the time to get it together. Only trouble is that I have changed too many things at once to tell what exactly is doing what. I did hours of listening yesterday and I felt that the midbass was coming back but the treble was separated from the midrange, kind of riding on top, the highhat was drawing attention to itself. Now today the highs have less bite but the voices are still slightly sterile. Now I noticed this issue when I put the 5100 in the system after sending out the PPP so I am going to have to wait until the system is back to its original state to truly judge what is going on. I know using two power filters in the line has to be hurting me.................Idea, I just freed up a powerstrip I can replace the 5100 with
