I would like to know who told you that the PPP is rated to provide 1500 continuous watts. 1500 would be fine for short peaks. Continuous duty figure about 75% of that, according to PS. If you exceed the rated load of the unit, it will simply kick out of regenerated AC mode, via the relay, and provide unregulated, unregenerated AC from your wall. Easy way to tell, if you dont hear the relay? Look at the differential THD % reading, it would be zero. Otherwise, good info presented.
