Hi, my name is Pedro and I'm from Portugal. I'm General Manager at an IT company.

I started being interested in HiFi two years ago, since we had our first son, and I had to stay more time at home (my other hobbies were photography and travelling, which require outdoors).

Until now I have only invested in an headphones system as I'm still figuring out how to integrate (loud) music in the family ecosystem.

Here's my current office set up:

- The source is my MacBookAir serving high-resolution (CD quality or better) music files using the Amarra sw – not visible in the picture
- Audiophilleo 1 USB-SPDIF transport – not visible in the picture
- Meier StageDac, the DAC – the unit on the bottom
- Ultimate Silver Dream interconnects – not visible in the picture
- Meier Concerto, the headphone amplifier – the unit on top
- Grado RS1i headphones (also have the Beyerdynamic T1 and Ultrasone ed. 8 headphones)
- Sieveking Sound Omega Headphone Stand

ABSOLUTELY NOT, LOL!!! Grew up in Queens and have been a diehard NY Rangers fan all my life, even though I now live on LI. While I am also a diehard Giants and Mets fan too, I can actually somewhat root for the Yankees and Jets if they're not playing my team. But after JP Parise broke our hearts back in the 70's and they went on to win a bunch of Cups, no way can I root for Islanders.

BTW, go BIG BLUE!!!
