Hi There,

Name is Dragan and I just joined the site. Very nice. Grew up on Quads which is what I currently listen with. Love blues, bluegrass, folk, jazz particularly but listen to pretty much everything.

Work as a CAD draftsman, network admin, field manager (many hats :-) at my regular job and also run a small high-end audio classifieds website.

Thanks Jim! How do you like Transparent cable? I've used them long time ago and for a long time, almost exclusively (still have a 8' pair of Super) sitting in the box) until I started using 47 Labs OTA with their own system.

Now, I'm running all Zen with my Quads (Quad electronics as well) and am not sure what to think of it.

Hello

My name is Sean and I am pretty new to "Hi-fi". I stumbled upon this site after watching one of Alberto's YouTube videos.

I grew up listening to classic rock that my father would play. In his youth he was a Disc Jockey and had a massive collection of Vinyl that he still has to this day. I was too young at the time to understand what I was really hearing but I grew up listening to the warm sounds of Chicago and many other great bands. My father is somewhat a Audiophile guy himself. He has a little collection of Vintage JBL's. A pair of L36's that he bought back in 1977 new, a pair of L46's and a pair of L88 Plus's that are indentical to the L100. He loves the sound of Vintage Japenese Solid State and has a Sansui 8080DB. It gives lots of warm sounding power to the L88's and L36's.
This brings me to my system. After hearing what music sounds like through my fathers system I purchased a small system for myself from Ebay. A Sansui 771 and a pair of JBL L36's from 1976. After doing some research I stumbled upon the great system Alberto has. It had shown me what true audiophile gear is about. I hope to learn more about the more recent Hi-fi gear and was looking into purchasing a system with the advice from you guys on this great forum. I've look around and this seem to be an awesome way to start my adventure into the "Hi-fi" world. Thanks

Sean
