Default Blue Coast Records Downloads available

For those of you who have not heard of Blue Coast Records, they are a new company started by Cookie Marenco. Their Blue Coast Collection ranks as one of my all time favourite albums. Recording quality is beyond belief.

They have just released two more songs for download at cd quality of 96KHz. 2 dollars each download until tomorrow morning at which time the price goes to 3 bucks. What is amazing is that the recording was made just this evening and went on download a few minutes later! You can't get more fresh than that!!!

Well worth it imho.

Enjoy

Holy sh!^

The 96khz WAV of the 2nd song is 224MB in a ZIP. They definately pumped this thing up! Even the streaming DEMO is nicely recorded.

These guys are serious.

Howie,
I played their collection samples. Nice! Do you ever visit the The Wanch (aka "the Wanchai Folk club" on Lockhart Rd I think) on HK island? I used to go there all the time 20 years ago, and it was still there in '05, playing a lot of acoustic guitar and such. These songs kind of reminded me of that.

Their Blue Coast Collection is well worth it. It includes a SACD and a CD so you can stick one in your car

What is even more exciting is that they are getting a 180g LP of it produced
