any of these amps: MA7000 Accuphase E-550 Levinson 335 + Mark Levinson 380 S preamp but i can not compares this. because separate stores. ![]() I liked mc design but sonically is similar the quality ? or anothers brands are best ? I heard here that the Krell have a sound "cold" and accuphase lacks musicality MA7000 have more detail in a sound than MA6900 or old MA6800 ? What are you using for speakers? This should be taken into account.

Ive heard MA7000 with Sonus Faber Amati Anniversario, one of the best demo in my life. If I had the money at that time I would have bought those speakers. Got a very nice price. Someday maby

Sonus Faber and McIntosh are very good match. The MA7000 is McIntosh's flagship integrated amp, it should sound great with the Grand Piano.

I'm using a McIntosh MA7000 with a pair of Sonus Faber Guarneri Mementos and couldn't be happier. I tried others and I am very glad I settled on the MA7000. This amp has proven over and over that the McIntosh sound and Sonus Faber speakers are a very, very good match.
I owned Levinson gear for years, switched to Spectral in my "main system" and there was a vast improvement. (The last Levinson pre-amp I owned was the No. 32 - their. at that time, top of the line), and the Spectral pre-amp blew it away. Now, I consider the MA7000 to be in somewhat the same league as the Spectral - and I use both is separate systems (see my "gear listings below) Good luck. Personally, I would put the MA-7000 first, the Accuphase second and the Levinson a distant third - because the 380s is somewhat dated. I understand that current Levinson sounds better than old, but I haven't tried any since 2006. I did own an Accuphase integrated amp (E-408) several years ago and thought it a little two-dimensional, but it was a true work of beauty.
