I wonder if the new Ferrari 458 has a Men220 built in, hence the recent fires and recall!

Perhaps McIntosh will release some information about the MEN220 status sometime next week. It has been four weeks since McIntosh had my MEN220 on the bench in Binghamton. I hope they are well on the way to a correction for the balanced output issue. I am anxious to have my MEN220 balanced outputs corrected, and the unit reinstalled in my system using balanced interconnects between the C1000P, the MEN220, and the MC501 amplifiers.

Think they will reimburse you for those S/E cables you had to buy???

Stephen.......I would not even consider asking McIntosh for anything like that . I just want my MEN220 to operate properly in balanced mode so that I can use it in the manner I originally intended when purchased.

I will find another use for the two one meter pairs of Wireworld Silver Eclipse unbalanced interconnects I purchased. High quality interconnects, balanced or unbalanced, always have a use.
